RIP John McKee

The hickory golf community is sadden by the news that John McKee passed away last night. John was a very active hickory golfer and a charter member of the CHGA. Many of us have played with him over the years and he hosted us at Pinecrest CC down in Lumberton several times. John has been ill for the past several years and was no longer able to play, but this never dampened his enthusiasm for the CHGA and hickory golf. I’m gonna miss him and I know everyone who knew him feels the same way. No arrangements have yet been announced.
